The Insurance Department seeks to communicate with and serve the public as well as those it regulates in the most efficient and responsive manner. The Connecticut Insurance Department also seeks to reach out to the global community to link with all who share our common goal of protecting the consumer by ensuring the financial reliability and responsibility of its regulated entities.
It was developed by a subgroup of the Insurance Department Information Technology Advisory Committee in 1997. The Web team was made up of representatives from each Division of the Department.
