Russell Stone is the owner and CEO of Scranton Financial Group of South Windsor. Russell attended Framingham College to study Economics and Finance. Another important part of his education was having the chance to be taken under the wing of Dave Scranton. If that name sounds familiar, it might be because you have seen Dave on his national show The Income Generation, listened to him speaking on his syndicated radio show, or read one of his three books. Having the pleasure of being trained by a known income professional in the United States has proven beneficial in shaping the way Russ conducts his own business. For over 20 years, Dave and Russ have worked closely together, even after Russ branched out on his own.

Russ is an accomplished speaker and teaches several different educational workshops throughout the year. Social Security, RMDs and Estate Planning are just a few of the topics he is passionate about teaching.

Focusing on personalized service for every client that walks through his door is a top priority. He knows that everyone comes to the office with different circumstances and financial needs. Russell prepares his clients for today and the future by educating them about their best options.

Russ also started Stone Tax in 2009, and he uses this business to help navigate his client’s financial future, as well as discuss tax-saving strategies.

Russ lives in Ellington with his wife Nancy and has four grown children.
